SpendPadi Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SpendPadi service ("Service"), including sending messages or voice notes via WhatsApp, connecting Google Sheets, or using AI-generated reports, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SpendPadi allows users to track expenses by sending text or voice notes via WhatsApp. The AI interprets transactions, logs them, offers instant reports (e.g., via /report), and connects data to Google Sheets. It recognizes local terminologies and date formats such as "2.5k" or "yesterday" (spendpadi.com).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum legal age in your country or have parental/legal guardian consent to use SpendPadi. By using the Service, you affirm you are legally capable of entering into agreements.

4. User Accounts and Registration

No traditional app installation or formal registration is required—usage is permitted via WhatsApp. However, you remain responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide and for maintaining the secrecy of any access credentials or linked accounts (e.g., your Google account).

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service lawfully and not for fraudulent, harmful, or illegal purposes
• Not transmit viruses, malicious code, spam, or unsolicited promotional materials
• Be responsible for any activity through your connection
• Notify SpendPadi immediately of any unauthorized use

6. Privacy and Data Security

SpendPadi collects and processes the data you send (text, voice, transaction details) and forwards logs to your Google Sheets. Handling of personal data is governed by SpendPadi's Privacy Policy. While efforts are made to ensure data security, no system is entirely foolproof.

7. Intellectual Property

The technology, features, design, and content of SpendPadi are owned or licensed by SpendPadi. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works unless expressly permitted in writing.

8. Accuracy of the Service

SpendPadi uses AI to parse and log your transactions accurately, but if uncertainty arises, it may ask for clarification. You acknowledge that interpretations may sometimes be inaccurate, and you use the Service at your own discretion.

9. Third-Party Integrations

SpendPadi is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of any third-party services.

10. Subscription, Fees, and Payments

If extended features or premium services are introduced, SpendPadi will clearly communicate pricing, billing practices (e.g., pre-billed, non-refundable), and cancellation procedures.

11. Termination

SpendPadi may suspend or terminate your access at its discretion for violation of Terms or abuse, without liability.

By You

You may stop using the Service at any time. Data access via Google Sheets remains subject to Google's retention and deletion settings. Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued before termination.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind—express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Accessibility or functionality cannot be guaranteed.

13. Limitation of Liability

SpendPadi (and its team) shall not be liable for any damages—direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special—arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if notified of potential damages. In jurisdictions where limitations are restricted, the liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpendPadi and its employees, agents, affiliates, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to Terms

SpendPadi may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, reasonable notice will be provided (e.g., via email or WhatsApp notification), and updated Terms will be posted with a clear effective date. Continued use after changes implies your acceptance.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
